RISD 2022 YEARBOOK
[ DESCRIPTION ] What is the one thing that each one of us has written more than anyone else in the world? – our own names. This year, we gather back in Providence to present our names to the world. How is each performance uniquely different or similar in nature? This final act becomes a reflection of the things we have lost and found during our time at RISD and how it has influenced the identities we’ve become today.
As part of the RISD Design Guild, we are tasked with directing and designing the yearbook for the graduating class of students. Finding creative ways to express and present their names to the world, students brought objects, clothing, and other interesting materials to display their names. The photographs were then combined with a strip describing their performance, their work, their experience at RISD or their personalities as a way to close off their final chapter at the school.
